Project Overview
Design and product development of the Liquid Force 4D binding system, a proprietary wakeboard interface engineered to improve board feel, flex performance, and rider connection. Focused on rethinking the binding-to-board interaction by minimizing material footprint and optimizing mechanical efficiency.
A 45-degree angled mounting interface was designed and refined to increase leverage, enhance edge control, and create a more secure, direct connection between rider and board. A low-profile baseplate with reduced contact area eliminates dead zones and allows the board to flex naturally through the full range of motion.
The geometry was carefully engineered to balance strength, weight reduction, and flex continuity, resulting in a more responsive and dynamic ride across all conditions.
